Refund and cancellation policy
There is nothing to cancel. talkv is prepaid with no subscription, so stopping costs nothing and needs no notice. What this page settles is the other half: when money that has not been spent comes back to you.
In effect from 4 September 2026 · last updated 6 October 2026 · talkv, operated by Talkv
1. What you pay for
talkv is prepaid software. You add a balance, and we draw from it as broadcast messages are delivered, at the rate published on our pricing page at the time of your top-up. There is no subscription, no per-seat charge, no monthly minimum and no minimum top-up. Balances do not expire.
The full wallet terms are section 7 of our terms of service, and they govern. This page restates them; it does not add to them.
2. Cancelling
Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. You can stop topping up, and stop using talkv, at any time. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Closing an account is a separate thing, and it is covered on our data deletion page. Download a copy of anything you want to keep, from Settings, before you do it.
3. When we refund
A balance you have not spent is still yours, in the cases below. A balance that has been spent has been spent — those messages were delivered.
Because the balance is consumed as it is used, a top-up is generally non-refundable. We will refund the unused part of one where:
- we have ended the service without cause;
- a charge was made in error, including a duplicate top-up;
- the payment was made by somebody not entitled to make it; or
- the law requires it.
The ₹50 welcome credit on a new account is not money you paid, so it is never refunded and is left out of any refund we make.
Two rules in the software make this needed less often than you would expect:
- You are charged on delivery, not on send. A message accepted by Meta and never delivered costs you nothing, so there is nothing to ask back for it.
- The quote before a broadcast is a ceiling. We block the most it could cost, charge what actually went out, and release the difference back to your balance once the broadcast has settled. You are never charged more than you approved.
4. How a refund reaches you
We answer a refund request within one working day, the same as anything else written to us. Where we agree it, the money goes back through our payment gateway to the method it was paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else, and we do not see or store your card details. How long it then takes to appear is between the gateway and your bank.
A refund is its own entry on your wallet statement, pointing back at the top-up it reverses. Nothing is edited away, so the history of the account stays complete. Where we correct a balance for any other reason, that adjustment appears on the same statement with the reason written into it. There is no second set of books.
5. What Meta charges you is not ours to refund
talkv is a Tech Provider on the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta bills you directly, on your own payment method, for WhatsApp conversations. We never receive, hold, collect or pass on those amounts, and we are not told what they were.
So we cannot refund them, credit them against your talkv balance, or dispute them for you. That is between you and Meta. Everything on this page is about our platform fee, which is a separate amount on a separate bill.
6. How to ask
Write to hello@talkv.io from the address on your account, and tell us the workspace and which payment it is about.
Our postal address is in section 1 of the terms, and the contact page has our telephone number.
